Unconventional Proteins and Membranes Traffic
4-7 October 2016 Lecce, Italy
Heterogeneous mechanisms, collectively named “unconventional protein secretion” are being characterized as different from well-established vesicles traffic. The underlying mechanisms are still subject to intense investigation. These processes concern major biological problems, such as cell-to-cell communication, tumorigenesis, tissue remodelling, inflammation, host–pathogen interactions, lipid metabolism.
A panel of scientists internationally recognised for their expertise in microbiology, plant and animal biology and human health combine forces to develop an open comparative approach to tackle these questions, timely.
